Hybrid Shipping and Receiving Associate en The Millennium Group

Hours:7:30a-4:30p- Flexibility to work to 6:00pm when needed. Overtime paid

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive all inbound shipments and packages
• Use hand held scanner to control all inbound and outbound accountable packages
• Deliver all mail and inbound shipments throughout the building within two hours of receipt
• Track all assets received into the Data Center {receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.}
• Deliver, pickup, and transport assets and material within, between, to and from various locations {docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.}
• Receive items with Purchase Orders in Oracle/Receiving Program.
• Insure items received in Oracle are error and defect free.
• Ensure data entry into internal databases is done accurately and within established time frames.- Coordinate with Asset Management and IT, the disposal and recycling of retired desktop computer equipment.
• Prepare material for processing, shipment and/or transportation.
• Enter activity data in logs and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Handle work order service requests into applicable format.
• Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment
• Communicate to customers when items should arrive at locations.
• Rate shop shipping of equipment with commercial carriers and private freight companies
• Supervise staff of one.
• Prepare, daily, weekly and monthly reports as required

 Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience
• Experience with inventory control in a warehouse/ office services environment
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle.
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office Software ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint )
• Be familiar with IT environment terminology (i.e.HP and dell hardware, patch cords, power cords)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team environment.
• Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
• Skilled at operating mobile equipment such as pallet jack and server lift
