Hybrid System Engineer en ManTech

ManTech seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented System Engineer to join our team located in the Fort Meade, MD area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Demonstrated experience creating and managing virtual environmentsSystems administration of hardware and software in support of maintenance, developing and testing of information technology systems Leverage IT automation to perform daily tasked associated with data repositories on air-gapped networks.Experience configuring and maintaining storage and file systemsExperience in developing and delivering briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.14+ years of systems engineering experience; an Associates degree and 5 additional years of systems engineering experience might be substituted.Experience with Nuntanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)Experience with DevOps tools such as nxLog, Graphana, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, SaltStack (SALT)Experience with NiFi to forward collected log events to repository for analysis.Ability to launch and configure VMWare instancesPreferred Qualifications:Use SALT to deploy config files to end nodes and do various interrogations (Ping, DNS)Experience with installing PKI certsCreate/Maintain bash scripts to dump and load databasesUse SALT to deploy config files to end node and do various interrogations (ping, DNS)Clearance Requirement: Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Poly Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
