As an Operations and Pricing Coordinator with Jones Petroleum Company, you’ll do more than just keep things running smoothly — you’ll gain exposure to real estate transactions, supply contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and project management. This position is designed for someone eager to learn, grow, and carve out a career path in one of the most foundational industries in the country.


Job Responsibilities:


Retail Fuel Pricing

  • Operate and maintain retail fuel pricing software
  • Analyze market trends and perform price/cost analysis
  • Set up new stores and update existing pricing structures
  • Monitor competitor pricing and rules
  • Troubleshoot site connectivity and system issues
  • Manage cost logistics and create work orders

Oil Company Brand Management

  • Review and analyze brand “mystery shops”
  • Track and report underperforming sites
  • Submit corrective actions and photos to oil companies
  • Upload reports to customer portals
  • Track and respond to customer complaints

Project Coordination

  • Assist in planning and executing store projects
  • Coordinate key installation dates with vendors
  • Ensure vendors stay on schedule and within budget
  • Manage interdepartmental project communication
  • Reconcile project and deal budgets
  • Set up new store profiles with brands
  • Use project management tools (Trello) to track progress

Customer Outreach

  • Collect and track required documentation from store locations
  • Follow up with customers on pending issues or concerns

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in the fuel industry)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Comfort using AI tools for business applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  •  Must be able to sit for long periods of time, including repetitive hand and figure motions for typing for long periods
