NSS Human Resources Generalist III Job Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Maintains, updates, develops and implements HR policies and programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives.
- Maintains personnel records, salary and benefits data, accident reports, performance reviews, and EAP/SAP referrals.
- Generates reports to support salary, promotion, and increase justifications.
- Participates in government agency audits.
- Oversees full cycle recruiting using ADP Workforce Now (WFN) including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, compliance tracking, background screening and new-hire onboarding.
- Maintains job descriptions in coordination with Department Managers.
- Reviews and evaluates employee benefit programs.
- Administers grievance procedures, conducts investigations, counsels employees, and facilitates conflict resolution, including coordinating with third-party counselors when needed.
- Conducts market competitiveness, pay equity, and trend analysis.
- Provides data and compliance reporting to ensure adherence with EEOC, State, Federal, and other regulations.

A. Reports to: CFO
B. Supervises: None
C. Signature Authorities: None
D. Level of Interaction: Interacts with all employees, supervisors, and management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
B. Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience.
C. Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience with ADP WorkForce Now (WFN)
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to engage with staff individually or in groups.
- Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of employment laws, EEOC filings, Federal, and State regulations and processes.
- Experience administering benefits and compensation programs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Skilled in recruiting, interview coordination, hiring, onboarding, and exit interviews

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
