About the Position


The Special Projects Associate supports the execution of key Marketing and Warehouse initiatives, including photo shoots, tradeshows, and special events such as sample sales. This hands-on role involves the safe movement and handling of inventory, equipment operation such as a Forklift and Cherry Picker, product staging, and warehouse coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Job Responsibilities:


Photo Shoot & Marketing Support

  • Pull and prepare inventory for photo shoots and social media based on pick sheets.
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of photo shoot environments—staging furniture, lighting, wall décor, and props.
  • Load and unload vehicles for offsite shoots; support both indoor and outdoor logistics.
  • Unpack and repack inventory; report damages and follow proper return procedures.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain an organized and clean photo studio and prop storage area.
  • Use RF scanners to manage inventory movements and transfers (e.g., PHOTO ? BTS, REP, SSW).
  • Support prop repairs, minor set painting, or general studio maintenance when needed.

Warehouse & Tradeshow Support

  • Pick, palletize, and prepare inventory for tradeshows or events using RF scanners.
  • Package and return products according to standard warehouse procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
  • Complete required paperwork and system entries (e.g., pick tickets, pallet logs).
  • Assist other departments including Receiving, Shipping, and Special Events, as needed.

Requirements

 

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Previous warehouse or event logistics experience preferred.

· Valid forklift certification and experience with reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

· Ability to read and follow pick sheets, manifests, and instructions accurately.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

· Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and offsite events.

· Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable mindset.


Physical Requirements:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms. 

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
