Job Title: Print Production Level 2
Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: M-F 7:30 - 4:30
Pay: $18.84 per hour
Essential Functions:
Deliver intermediate contracted customer requirements (document assembly and finishing)
Receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs
Operate finishing equipment (cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers) and office/production equipment (printers, copiers, fax, scanners)
Apply asset tags to equipment, update database, and coordinate equipment moves/changes
Clean and maintain office equipment as required
Process incoming and outgoing mail, log for billing purposes
Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product
Maintain supply inventory and distribute as needed
Collect and submit meter reads; maintain reporting logs for billing
Perform quality inspection before, during, and after production runs
Operate high-volume printers/copiers; schedule, estimate, and track production jobs
Track/store jobs for future reuse; inspect files for fonts, resolution, and registration
Convert and index files to CD-ROM, disk, or tape for distribution
Integrate variable data files into templates; perform file/document conversions
Scan and sort hardcopy/digital materials; assist with file management
Respond to equipment issues by contacting service personnel using PC applications
Perform operator maintenance; provide minimal customer training on equipment
May develop work processes/templates; may operate high-volume folding/inserting mail equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills:
Strong computer skills; functional PC knowledge (keyboard, mouse, file management)
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): spreadsheets, formulas, sorting/filtering, graphs, importing/exporting data
Ability to send/receive emails, use browsers, locate devices on network, configure printers
Data entry, document management, and basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
Professionalism, customer service focus, and problem-solving ability
Basic technical knowledge for reporting, web access, and printer connectivity/configuration
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Post-high school technology training or equivalent experience (required)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
