Responsibilities:

This Nautilus internship opportunity provides a paid experience to explore opportunities through use of analytical skills that support work for Nautilus via the Strategic Analysis unit, including data analytics project work.  The Intern will work with data to help generate insights that support business decisions, including the use of BI tools and participating in the related educational material prep and workshops.

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing business data.
  • Develop and/or refine dashboards, scorecards, and reports using BI tools. (e.g., Power BI)
  • Support in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from large data sets. Includes learning about and applying AI-powered visualizations as well as documenting and presenting those findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, with guidance.
  • Prepare educational materials and/or presentations for the user community regarding specific dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality with discretion and integrity with both internal and external information.
  • Project a professional company image through internal customer interaction.
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Data Analytics, Mathematics, or relevant coursework at a 4-year accredited university
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply data-driven thinking
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, relationship building, and a solid work ethic
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus
  • Effectively communicate with tact, judgment, empathy, and professional business etiquette.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are met, in connection with department goals
