Overview:

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for the administration of all benefits efforts for Sonny’s Enterprises. This role requires daily interactions with internal and external individuals, the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and pay exceptional attention to detail. They must have advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and tracks all Leave of Absence requests in various systems
• Resolving employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers
• Assisting the employees with enrolling in health benefits in ADP and answering questions about our benefit plan offerings
• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies identified with payroll and vendor.
• Keeping employee benefits records up to date and documentation organized.
• Working with ADP and insurance providers to resolve EDI issues and/or manually processing enrollment changes while files are down for maintenance.
• Update Payroll with any benefit deduction changes and assist with calculating retroactive deductions if needed.
• Conducts benefit enrollment meetings in orientation and open enrollment.
• Manages 401(k) inquires relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
• Manages the open enrollment process including the overall planning, communication and development of plans with HR, employees and brokers.
• Provides necessary reporting for allocation & billing charges.
• Contribute and lead a wide variety of projects involving our employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications:

Education and Formal Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:
• 5+ years of employee benefits experience preferred.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, ability to detect inconsistencies in data, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Experience with ADP is a plus
• Exposure to a high volume, and multi-task work environment required
