Care Resources is growing, and we are adding a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Home Care Department.  This work is important and meaningful in enhancing the lives of those we are privileged to serve!

What will you do?

• Complete authorizations for home care services
• Manage PCA home care schedules
• Document in the electronic medical record
• Participate in on-call rotation after hours and weekends (on-call through the phone for Aide schedules)
• Assist with addressing participant and family concerns related to the Home Health Aides
• Communicate with contracted home health agencies
• Review and process home health agency invoices and timesheets
• Obtain documentation from home health agencies

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Our ideal candidate will have experience with electronic medical record computer systems and scheduling.
• 1 - 2 years of general office processes; medical office experience is a plus.
• 6 months - 1 year of scheduling experience.
• Prefer 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.

Hours

• Work a Monday - Friday schedule
• Day shift with flexibility
• Full-Time
• One weekend per month, on-call phone triage only
