Description
Fusion, a NOA Brands Company, is a leading global provider of mannequins, display forms, fixtures, and larger-than-life visual merchandising solutions. Our mission is to help retail brands create unforgettable in-store experiences through innovation, craftsmanship, and customized service. With a uniquely collaborative and creative approach, we tailor each solution to meet the specific needs of our clients… no two customers are the same. We’re seeking a strategic, proactive, and relationship-driven Account Executive to help us expand our business and deliver long-term value to both new and existing customers.
Job Function/Purpose:
The Account Executive is responsible for driving top-line sales through the management of existing accounts and the development of new business opportunities. This highly strategic and customer-centric role involves understanding each client’s unique needs, developing tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional results. This is an on-site position when not traveling, as understanding our products and processes firsthand is critical to the consultative sales approach we bring to our work.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Account Management & Growth:
- Serve as the senior point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building deep, trust-based relationships.
- Conduct regular in-person visits (minimum quarterly) and ongoing virtual meetings to strengthen partnerships and uncover new sales opportunities.
- Proactively identify customer challenges, often before they are expressed, and offer tailored, insight-driven solutions that deliver real value.
- Customize the customer experience to meet individual account needs, reinforcing our bespoke and service-first approach.
- Partner with internal Account Development Managers and Account Managers to deliver seamless execution and exceptional service.
New Business Development:
- Re-engage dormant accounts and pursue net-new customer opportunities in both core and adjacent market segments.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position our full range of services, including mannequins, fixtures, props, and display solutions, as compelling answers to customer pain points.
- Coordinate with sister companies and fixture leads to pursue joint opportunities and host co-meetings for cross-category solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting:
- Create weekly sales update slides for executive sales and operations cross-functional meetings, clearly outlining new opportunities, risks to budget, or customer concerns for executive review.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Operations, Creative, and Project Management to align on pricing, lead times, deliverables, and customer priorities.
- Serve as the internal customer advocate—clearly articulating why specific services or accommodations are needed to win and retain business.
Pricing, Strategy & International Awareness:
- Build thoughtful, strategic pricing proposals based on margins, markups, and customer expectations.
- Provide quotes across multiple materials and production regions, highlighting global sourcing flexibility and cost optimization.
- Awareness of duties, tariffs, taxes, and international logistics when building proposals, pricing strategies, and timelines.
- Lead or support responses to RFPs and renewals, ensuring competitive and aligned proposals.
Data Tracking, KPI Monitoring & Market Intelligence:
- Own your performance metrics: track customer outreach, meetings (virtual and in-person), and meaningful weekly interactions.
- Know when to elevate or escalate issues, including risks to customer satisfaction, pricing conflicts, or production delays, and bring them to leadership early.
- Research competitors, vendors, and market trends to approach customers with well-informed go-to-market strategies rooted in industry insight.
