Position Summary:
We're seeking a creative and strategic marketing leader to oversee brand strategy and experience for StrataTech Education Group. This role will develop and execute brand positioning strategies that differentiate our operational brands (Tulsa Welding School and The Refrigeration School) in the skilled trades education sector, while fostering a strong sense of community among students, alumni, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Leadership
    • Own and evolve StrataTech's brand architecture, ensuring consistency across corporate, school, and program identities.
    • Develop positioning strategies that differentiate our brands in the skilled trades education sector.
    • Lead cohesive brand experiences across broadcast, streaming, digital, social, out-of-home, events, and internal channels.
  2. Creative Direction
    • Champion innovative creative that resonates with Gen Z, Millennials, and adult learners.
    • Manage in-house and agency teams to deliver impactful storytelling, video, design, and integrated campaigns.

3.     Student Experience

·        Develop and execute strategies to enhance student engagement and community building.

·        Collaborate with campus teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

4.     Alumni Relations

·        Develop and execute strategies to engage and retain alumni, fostering a sense of community and loyalty.

·        Manage alumni events, communications, and outreach initiatives.

5.     Public Relations

·        Develop and execute public relations strategies to build brand awareness and reputation.

·        Manage media relations, crisis communications, and executive visibility initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand strategies that engage, inspire, and convert.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects, agencies, and deadlines, ensuring quality and on-brand execution.
  • Analyze brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

·        Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, media, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction, student experience, alumni relations, or public relations.
  • Proven track record in brand development and management.
  • Strong expertise in creative direction, storytelling, and campaign development.
  • Experience working with agencies and vendors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

This role will require a strong understanding of brand strategy, student experience, alumni relations, and public relations, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and execute strategies that drive brand awareness, student engagement, and alumni loyalty, while maintaining a positive public image.

Work Environment:

  • Phoenix-based position with the majority of work able to be performed remotely.
  • Travel required to visit campus locations in Phoenix, AZ; Tulsa, OK; Jacksonville, FL; Dallas and Houston, TX; and Atlanta, GA.
