We are looking for a full-time Concierge to join our team!

Our Concierges are responsible for delivering excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone to assist clients and their pets.  They provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients, support the doctors and support staff, and look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion.

This is a Full-Time position.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in person and on the phone with great attitude as soon as they walk in the door with a professional, warm, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
• Provide prompt, professional, friendly service to all clients.
• Prepare charts for new Unleashed patients before appointment including obtaining prior medical records
• Assist clients in filling out registration and other necessary forms.

• Check out all clients by collecting fees, and ensuring clients have all belongings, including literature and medications from UVH.

• Explain charges to ensure clients perceive the value of service provided.
• Performs duties on daily task list
• Ensure that all bathing/grooming/boarding/daycare charges are correctly invoiced.
• Make sure all Jotforms and estimates from clients are correctly imputed in the client/patient record
• Make sure all Unleashed medical appointments are properly checked in especially next day appointments

• Handle cash and credit card transactions

• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives

• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of previous experience in client services.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software are required.
• Must be client orientated and have the ability to adapt/respond to different types of character
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
