Machine Operator Trainee

Metals USA is hiring for a Machine Operator Trainee - First Shift for the Waggaman, LA location. This is an entry level industrial warehouse position where the Machine Operator Trainee assists the machine operator while learning how to operate the machine.

Responsibilities

• Positions work pieces for processing securely on the machine using hoist and crane.
• Records information of work pieces processes.
• Pulls, restocks, and labels material. 
• Identifies equipment and material problems and communicates with Machine Operator.
• Inspect finished and in-process products, taking corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
