POSITION: Enrollment and Outreach Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: School of Communication

REPORTS TO: Dean, School of Communication

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The School of Communication at Point Park University seeks an Enrollment and Outreach Coordinator. This person will work closely with the Dean of the School to recruit students. In addition, the position will support efforts to retain existing students.

The successful candidate will have an engaging personality, an aptitude for communicating with both traditional and nontraditional students, knowledge of social media practices, and will embrace an outcome-driven team atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of databases
• Ability to work independently and in teams

DUTIES:

1. Support recruitment and outreach efforts to increase student interest and engagement
2. Coordinate events and opportunities to build a cohesive school culture
3. Support discipline-specific student groups
4. Compile data for reports and summaries
5. Coordinate communications with prospective and current students, including with population subgroups
6. Conduct informational and orientation sessions (online and in person)
7. Coordinate campus visits for prospective students (individuals and groups)
8. Coordinate outreach visits by faculty, department chairs, and dean
9. Participate in school and departmental meetings as necessary
10. Other related duties as assigned.
