Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor!

Primary Job Function:

Dispatch supervisors are responsible for overseeing the activities of their team. They ensure that everyone is doing their job properly and in accordance with company policy, and they act as a liaison between employees and management when necessary.

Dispatch Supervisor

• Supervising dispatchers in all aspects of their jobs, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Maintaining and updating call logs, incident reports, and other records of dispatch activities
• Reviewing incoming calls to determine priority level and appropriate response
• Ensuring that callers are routed to the appropriate department or agency based on the nature of their requests
• Overseeing the operations of dispatch centers to ensure that all incoming calls are answered in a timely manner
• Monitoring ongoing emergency situations to ensure that appropriate responses are being enacted

Requirements:

· Proven Leadership skills

· Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD)

· Fast typing with experience in data entry

· Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations

· Proficient in English (oral and written)

· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities

· Active listener with excellent communication skills

· Sound judgment and critical thinking

· High school diploma
