Objective: The Equipment PM Coordinator supports the maintenance area in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policies.

Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Exposure to a purchasing environment and a maintenance ordering system
  • The ability to interact positively with suppliers
  • Strong data entry skills (data entry keying test will be required)
  • Demonstrate leadership ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Strong self-motivation, with ability to manage personal work load with minimal supervision
  • Ability and willingness to work well in a team-based work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills, including detail-oriented project-management skills
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • An excellent work record, including attendance

Essential Functions:

Asset Management:

  • As Electronic Asset Management (EAM) administrator, maintain all equipment management within EAM, including adding and moving existing equipment.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment to set up and send out maintenance equipment repair.
  • Create requisitions for non-stock and spot buy replenishment items to support skilled trades and maintenance.
  • Review open orders with vendors to verify product delivery expectations to ensure timelines are met in support of skilled trades.
  • Ensure all work orders are completed and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Run proper reports in EAM and Jasper to obtain requested information to support maintenance. Provide proper charting when required.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in, and support lean initiatives, continuous improvement and problem solving events.
  • Suggest and implement ideas to increase personal and departmental efficiency.
  • Anticipate problems and work to eliminate them before they happen.

Preventative Maintenance:

  • Take complete ownership of the equipment preventative maintenance (PM), including planning and scheduling all PM's for all maintenance technicians working in the Grand Rapids Facility. This also includes writing machine specific written PM plans that include the tools and parts needed to complete the job.
  • Maintain an up to date and accurate backlog of planned work to be performed in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Further refine PM program to improve accuracy of system.
  • Hold a weekly meeting with each production scheduler to define maintenance schedule and agree on equipment availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy of the information in all maintenance work orders.
  • Plan and schedule all repairs that are identified through visual inspection and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Manager.
