Job Description:

Are you passionate about safety, service, and supporting education?  We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Bus Driver to help transport students, faculty, and staff to their destinations with care and professionalism.  In this vital role, you will operate a state-owned passenger bus (seating over 12 people), ensuring timely and secure travel for our campus community.  Reporting directly to the Dean of Educational Services/Athletic Director, you will play a key part in enhancing the student experience supporting campus operations.

Salary Range:

$20.21 to $26.46 Per Hour (2024-2025 salary range)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of state and local laws governing operation of motor vehicles on highways and city streets.

  • Ability to communicate with faculty, staff, and students.

  • Ability to make vehicle repairs and adjustments, such as: tire and oil changes, lubrication, and general washing and cleaning of vehicle.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Previous experience transporting passengers in a van or bus.

  • Ability to communicate with diverse passengers.

Other Requirements:

Licensure:

  • Must have current Class B CDL with passenger’s endorsement.

  • Must have a good driving record.

  • For some positions, license must include air brake endorsement.
