JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Must have one year experience in intermodal/trucking
- Assist with Conducting and coordinating new driver orientation classes
- Assist in recruiting qualified Owner Operators and Company Drivers
- Send out (fax) VOPE’s for new driver applicants
- Communicate with Application Auditor to get driver applicants qualified
- Inspect driver’s hours of service compliance
- Assist with all aspects of safety compliance: Expired Documents and Training
- Assist with In-House Vehicle Maintenance Program
- Experience in safety is a plus
JOB REQUIREMNTS:
- Ability to conduct CMV driver safety and operations instruction and training in an office setting as well as outdoors.
- Good knowledge of FMCSR - Preferred
- Good understanding of FMCSR part 395 – Hours of Service of Drivers – Preferred
- Ability and desire to promote IMC to potential CMV drivers
- Knowledge and understanding of truck maintenance and repair.
- Willing to Train the right motivated person.
- Willing to Travel to other terminals within the region.
