JOB TITLE: Endpoint Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology Services
REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology

POSITION SUMMARY: The Endpoint Administrator is responsible for the deployment and maintenance of endpoint operating systems and applications, including patch management. This individual will work closely with the Information Technology team to assist in account management, maintaining network infrastructure, and information security hardening.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 year of experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for streamlining the Endpoint Management Program, including planning, reviewing, quoting, purchasing, patching, hardening, and implementing.
- Optimization of all processes among Desktop Management (Mac and PC), and Virtual / Thin client platforms.
- Responsible for endpoint compliance reporting and monitoring.
- Develop relationships with system manufacturers and vendors to understand hardware and service offerings and product limitations.
- Programming endpoints and systems procedures
- Assist the Information Technology team in supporting various endpoints such as swipe card access, security cameras, copiers, printers, and various technological equipment.
- Lead individual responsible for addressing or delegating helpdesk cases.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in Windows 10 /Mac OS desktop installation and administration.
- Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, switching, routing).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Shows discernment regarding sensitive, and often confidential, information.
- Ability to work with vendors.
- Ability to work successfully under tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a flexible and professional attitude.
- Ability to contribute and adapt to the goals, objectives, and plans of Rochester Christian University.
- Ability to work with supervisors, peer-colleagues, and support staff.
