Engineering Project Manager

Provide professional Project Management services to insure the safe and efficient implementation of capital projects on the Stowmarket manufacturing site. The role is to ensure that projects are scoped, costed and delivered on time and within agreed budgets. The Project Manager is responsible for managing a small Projects team and ensuring that projects are implemented according to plan and priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of a small Project Engineering Team, ensuring the team are fully utilized and projects are planned and implemented according to priorities. Work closely with Operations teams to ensure the project requirements are known and met. Provide regular communication to the Engineering, Operations, and management team on project status.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/HNC level qualification in engineering, preferable mechanical
- Experience of using AutoCAD is desired or willingness to learn
- An experienced Engineering professional with significant experience of engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Experience of implementing projects on an Upper Tier COMAH site is desired.
- A knowledge of relevant engineering standards.
- Credibility and able to influence at all levels.
- Ability to present project plans to senior management team
- Project and change management expertise and experience
- Knowledge of process control and Safety Instrumented Systems
- Knowledge of the standards relating to hazardous area and installing equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres
