The Growth and Strategy head for Software Services will deliver integrated solutions that support the transformation of Harman Automotive Business across various automotive domains as part of the Global Executive leadership team responsible for building the next generation of Harman Business.The individual will drive the following:Head overall Sales, Partnerships, and Strategy for AES globally and drive the overall AES revenue in the range of $125 to $150 Million.Champion the growth and strategic success of the Automotive Services SBU business by improving industry positioning, diversity in offerings, and overall development of the business.Refine and institutionalize the SBU’s Sales Governance Model with clear milestones which are strategically aligned to Harman Automotive’s vision.Catapult Growth and Partnership tenets of the Sales Organization to think beyond the conventional Automotive market and include a larger ecosystem of organizations to redefine the positioning of the Automotive Services SBU.Build and nurture Best-in-Class Sales teams which embodies the key features of the Harman’s Cultural Transformation mindset to impact customer success and the overall growth of the Automotive Services business.Represent Automotive Services SBU and act as a partner for the larger Harman Automotive sales team in common pursuits and shared responsibilities of Customer Success, Customer Retention, and overall growth.Drive the growth of the SBU by charting strategies to acquire new customer relationships within the OEM and Automotive ecosystem.Portfolio growth (Profitable, Sustainable P&L) & Offerings Development Develop and amplify Market Attractive offerings with Integrated approach of Harman Automotive products and Solution. The role demands someone with a proven and tested rolodex in the Automotive OEM and Automotive industry. The key to this role is to transform the engagement model with our customers into an advisory and consulting relationship to allow superior customer satisfaction.This person is also responsible for transforming the Sales Engine for our Automotive Software Services business to include and leverage the complete set of Software assets which Harman can offer, while looking for new avenues of creatively packaging our capabilities to meet our customer’s requirements. This is a critical global leadership role with a major impact on the overall performance of the business unit, reporting directly to the SBU head.What You Will DoAs a Strategic Advisor, build and develop trusted relationships with clients and work internally across Harman teams to bring our clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end services to effectively address their projects.Lead and manage the executive sponsorship management with customers evaluating the existing deal risks and dependencies.Overall ownership of funnel creation along with regulating and stabilizing funnel velocity with a hyperfocus on achieving targets. Keen insights into the overall deal closure status and mentoring the sales teams on deal closure strategies adapting to customer specific, industry specific, and geopolitical challenges.Ensure that win strategies and customer challenges are always a priority for the business and collaboration with the distributed Harman teams leveraging the assets and intellectual properties are always a priority.Design and review Account Management strategy and plans, both short term and long term, for existing relationships.Act as a mentor for the Sales team and rallying the collective capabilities of the team leading them to a common target.Build, Develop and Own relationships with business, engineering and technology stakeholders, executives of our clients.What You Need to Be SuccessfulKnowledge of modern electronic in vehicle architectures.Further language skills such as German, Chinese, or KoreanBonus Points if You Have[Include details about expertise, knowledge or certifications that would make a candidate stand out.
