They will help support a large number of different research groups on many projects. The candidate must have strong communication and documentation skills. Data experience in Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and NoSQL as well as experience with EHR and claims data is preferred but not required.%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E

Supports multiple more complex services/databases; designs, develops, manages, and maintains databases. Plans and maintains database architecture and reporting. Optimizes database functions and implements integrated architecture and reporting updates. Trains and guides lower-level staff.

Required skills include strong SQL Server skills with the ability to write advanced queries and excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Execution Plans and optimization a plus. Experience with SAS, Stata, Web technologies, C#, Python, Powershell, Power BI, Snowflake, and health datasets is ideal but not required. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science or related area is preferred, or extensive experience with relational databases, stored procedures and SQL queries.
