Account Manager - Your future position?
As an Account Manager in our Fragrances Division, you will be fundamental in presenting our most relevant fragrances to some of the business' customers and distributors. You'll have the opportunity to develop a business plan targeting our distributors and local customers to achieve our sales goals and touch people's lives with delightful scent experiences. You'll report to the Sales Country Lead, and will be based in Punto Polanco, CDMX; working four days onsite and one from home a week.
In this exciting role you will:
- Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
- Develop and track Account Plans for key accounts
- Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations
- Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
- Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission
- Coordinate and manage internal resources in support of customer needs and priorities, ensuring the most efficient management of Givaudan resources
- Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production
- Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary
- Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines
- Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget etc. for key accounts
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines

Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelors or Master degree in business administration, economics, marketing, or chemistry.
- Overall 7-10 years of working experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting sales teams, being familiar with business routines and contact with clients.
- Market understanding of trends in Fine Fragrances.
- Hunting behavior for new clients and new business.
- Knowledge of competitor activities with key customers.
- Develops basic Account Plans, incorporating comprehensive customer knowledge and analysis
- Fluency in English (90%) is required.
