General Maintenance Technician – Join Our Team!

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a stable and rewarding career? We are seeking a dedicated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our Grand Palms apartment community in Mandeville, LA.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartments, common areas, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure property upkeep
• Complete work orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service
• Perform unit turnovers / make-readies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work
• Grounds maintenance duties may also be required depending upon the needs of the apartment community

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-family or residential setting
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Tools and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy items such as appliances
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
