Our team is an integrated facility and infrastructure design team consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural and Site Civil Engineering. We work in a wide variety of markets including Tech/Media/Telecom, Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Science and Technology, Industrial, Water, Federal and have a major focus Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure. Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cdiv class=%22ExternalClassD96597CD6DDF43178B1A3FC9F478EA41%22 style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3E%0A%3Cdiv%3EIn the role of Mechanical Engineer, we%27ll count on you to:%3C/div%3E%0A%3Cdiv%3E%0A%3Cul%3E%0A%3Cli%3ECoordinate the work of the mechanical design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EEstablish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3ECoordinate workload to complete the document on schedule%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EConduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EReview mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EWrite and edit mechanical specifications, selects equipment, mechanical systems and devices%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3ECoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EProvide construction contract administration as needed%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EConduct QA/QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators or Mechanical CAD Technicians as needed%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as needed%3C/li%3E%0A%3C/ul%3E%0A%3C/div%3E%0A%3C/div%3E%0A%3Cdiv class=%22ExternalClass6A6D32AE9172470DBEB8EB7C66D65ED6%22%3E%0A%3Cdiv style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3E%3Cb%3EPreferred Qualifications %3C/b%3E%3C/div%3E%0A%3Cdiv%3E%0A%3Cul%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EMaster%27s degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis or Mechanical Engineering%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EA minimum of 7 years experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EHeavy manufacturing, Data Center, and/or facilities experience%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EComputer experience using MS Office, Trane, TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software%3C/li%3E%0A%3Cli style=%22text-align: justify;%22%3EExperience in commercial or institutional facilities%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%0A%3C/ul%3E%0A%3C/div%3E%0A%3C/div%3E
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • Experience in commercial or institutional facilities
  • Computer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
