Bay Breeze is an assisted living facility for the adult community ages (18-59) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Facility Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast pace environment to join our team!
Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years' or recruiting experience and human resources is required
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective negotiating skills
- Ability to travel when necessary (25%)
- Familiarity with online job hunting websites
Job Description:
- Coordinate and plan all daily, weekly, and monthly activities involving Telecare clients taking into consideration various client abilities and limitations.
- Perform room checks for Telecare clients.
- Monitor the overall wellness of residents.
- Dispense medication and assist with the self-administration of medication according to regulations stated in Title 22 of the California Administrative code.
- Order and reorder medication for all residents following explicit physician instructions.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacies and social workers.
- Answer phones, maintain front desk inquiries, visitor log and assist with updating facility databases and programs.
- Other duties as may be assigned by Administrator.
