Hybrid Nurse Team Lead - FT 100% - M-F Days - SDS & PACU en Adena Health System

The Team Leader leads an assigned team of care providers cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect while providing patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care, improving service levels, reducing the length of hospitalization, and decreasing costs. Through collaboration and with the manager’s leadership, the Team Leader leads the team in providing patients and their families with patient focused care. The Team Leader participates in the overall planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations for a designated area(s) and is key in operationalizing the health system’s mission, values and goals. The Team Leader assists in guiding, coaching and evaluating the work performance of assigned patient care staff in their designated areas, ensuring ongoing collaboration with other departments/areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations.

Required Education:  Registered Nurse, effective 4/1/2019 for all New Hires BSN required within 5 years of hire

Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: RN - Registered Nurse with Current Ohio License; CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Preferred Experience:  Related work Experience; Clinical Experience in acute care setting; Prior demonstration of Leadership/management skills
