The job of the Customer Care Representative is to provide a superior experience to every customer that contacts the business through the Customer Care Department. The CCR will answer the inbound phone lines with courtesy and kindness. He or she will handle the concerns of the customer in a timely manner; this includes keeping the customer informed on any outstanding issues. The CCR is a key member who strives to maintain and strengthen relations with our customer base.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer inbound phone calls from internal and external customers.
- Make outbound calls to internal and external customers for follow up and scheduling purposes.
- Maintain timely email correspondence with vendors and customers.
- Communicate professionally with third party service and delivery vendor(s).
- Investigate customer's problems and find solutions.
- Ensure that each customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills, and knowledge of company products and services.
- Schedule service appointments and/or deliveries.
- Monitor reports for available inventory that can be scheduled for delivery.
- Work with all internal departments & furniture manufactures as required to service our customers.
- Process exchanges, reselects, & returns.
- Communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking in the English language with all levels of employees and clients.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport.
Light Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.

Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time
Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time
