Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Sonographers to join the Northern Imaging team at Northern Health. This is a Part Time ongoing position - 32 hours per fortnight.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
Applications are invited from Sonographers interested in a role with the Northern Imaging Victoria (NIV) team at Northern Health.
This role requires a commitment to high quality work and patient care, in a dynamic and growing department dealing with a complex caseload amongst multiple sites. There will be the opportunity to upskill as necessary to the right candidate.
Grade and Level will be determined based on experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in Ultrasound working within Medical Imaging department
- Proven competency across multiple Ultrasound imaging areas – including but not limited to General, MSK, O&G, Breast, Paediatrics, Vascular.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team particularly at times of high clinical demand.
- Bachelor Medical Sonography or post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasonography.
- Current registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation registry (ASAR) and CPD enrolment.
