Essential Job Functions:
- Use of scanning instruments for receiving, shipping, dock transfers and cycle counting operations
- Receiving operations include unloading of incoming RM bulk diluent, solvents, acid and bases.
- Use of ERP, sample label creation, QC submissions and unloading of material across West Main Campus.
- Shipping operations include management of material movement for RM and FG distribution, manifest creation and coordination with 3rd party logistics.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Receive, move and maintain inventory levels for raw materials, ingredients and packaging materials
- Outbound material flow and management
- Load and drive box truck for product and material movement across manufacturing campus
- Maintain First In/First Out (FIFO) inventory on product staging/movement
- Pulling/staging/delivering product and material as required to support manufacturing operations
- Pre-stage raw materials and ingredients in preparation for bulkings.
- Maintain inventory of on-site products and prepare and execute movement of raw material to outside warehouse(s) with use of planning tools
- Maintain and manage organization and consolidation of on-site warehouse(s) bins with leadership support
- Scanning, bin moves, bin consolidation
- Execute inventory cycle counts as set up and established under this program - per planned scheduling or as requested
- Support and perform cleaning and staging of transfer vessels
- Use of shift notes: One-Note and e-mail to communicate with team and internal customers.
- Use TraceGains for product certificate of analysis (COA).
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills. Able to communicate clearly in legible handwriting and comprehend written instructions.
- Computer skills, data entry
- Lift truck and material handling equipment operation
- Basic math (arithmetic)
- Able to work independently and follow standard procedures with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work in a very detail-oriented team environment
- Demonstrated compliance with material handling safety procedures
- Flexibility to manage frequently changing priorities and assignments
Equipment Operation:
- General office equipment
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift – must maintain qualified lift truck operator status
- Platform and portable scales
- Shrink wrapper
- Computer for creating package labels
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to lift up to fifty pounds on a frequent basis
- Climbing ladders and stairs
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching and twisting
- Frequent climbing on / off of various lift trucks continuously for an eight (8) hour shift
- Working at heights up to thirty feet (30’)
- Working in both hot and cold conditions throughout an eight (8) hour shift
