Residential Rehabilitation Program Manager

POSITION TITLE: Residential Rehabilitation Program Manager
PROGRAM SECTION: RRP
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
CLASSIFICATION: Nonexempt
SALARY: $26.50hr with CPRP
SUPERVISOR: Program Director
POSITION PURPOSE: The Manager is responsible for program policy development and implementation, providing rehabilitation services to clients and supervision to staff.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBLITIES
• The RRP Manager is responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
• The Program Manager is also responsible for the preparation of patient records for internal and external audits.
• The RRP Manager is responsible for monitoring the completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes by responsible staff.
• The RRP Manager is responsible for the submission of treatment plans for authorizations as well as maintenance of charts.
• The RRP Manager is responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed. In addition, the manager is responsible for the training of new employees.
• They are responsible for the development, implementation and adherence to program policy. In addition, the program manager is responsible for the training of new employees and the supervision of the program.
• The RRP Manager is responsible for maintaining their level of skill by completing the required 20 hours per year of training. In addition, each employee is expected to abide by all safety rules and regulations of the department and facility.
• The RRP Manager is responsible for carrying out the mission, philosophy of care and policies of Key Point. The assistant manager also performs other duties as needed to achieve program goals and objectives.
• The RRP Manager may be assigned various supervisory roles as determined by the Program Director.
• The RRP Manager may be responsible for all administrative tasks as well as clinical supervision of each employee.
• This position may also not be available at all locations due to size of program.

SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION OF SERVICES
The RRP Manager reports directly to their immediate supervisor, the Program Director. The Program Manager coordinates with other professionals within the agency as well as outside agencies to create an interdisciplinary team approach and other assigned duties. The employee abides by the ethics set forth by the agency and the profession as a whole.
DESIRABLE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• The RRP Manager should have either experience or education related to the population with whom they shall work.
• The employee should have knowledge of the DSM and relevant symptoms of the most common diagnosis within the RRP programs.
• The RRP Manager will be able to demonstrate proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management skills.
• The employee demonstrates the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• They will demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining client confidentially.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A master’s in vocational Rehab Counseling and a CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification) or a bachelor’s level degree and a CPRP
(Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner).
• Experience may substitute for being “Bachelors prepared” but must have the CPRP or actively be in the process of obtaining their CPRP certification.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The RRP Manager will primarily work in an office setting. However, he/she may be required to work in resident’s houses as needed. The Manager is not expected to be exposed to unusual temperatures, light or noise levels. The position may require repetitive use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.
TRAVEL
The Assistant Manager is expected to travel locally between the office, client’s residences, and community settings.
