Middle Tennessee Oral and Implant Surgery is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our team in the Murfreesboro office. We’re seeking someone who combines strong technical skills with a patient-first mindset, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Address patient questions regarding billing and payments
   
• Process patient insurance payments
   
• Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up as needed
   
• Research and review all claims for accuracy
   
• Work outstanding claims reports to resolution
   
• Correct and resubmit denied claims
   
• Post EFT, check, and credit card payments
   
• Handle insurance payment processing
   
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of medical and dental insurance verification experience preferred
   
• Experience with oral surgery insurance processes is a plus
   
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a patient-focused environment
   
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a problem-solving mindset
   
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in all work
   
• Comfortable working closely with patients and as part of a collaborative team
   
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and safety
   
• High school diploma or equivalent required
