Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a diploma of Library and Information Services acceptable for Library Technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and bring demonstrated customer service experience in a public library setting. You’ll have a good understanding of the role libraries play in the community, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to follow procedures accurately — especially relating to manual handling and processing materials.
