The opportunity
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2 years Acute Care/ED experience to join Silverchain’s Ambulatory Liaison Nursing Team, you will work from our office based in Osborne Park. Casual contract on offer.
Key Responsibilities
The primary function of the team is to assess referrals from hospitals, ED’s, GP’s, St. John ambulance and Residential Aged Care Facilities and have the ability to triage referrals to appropriate Silverchain services. The Ambulatory Liaison team are rostered 24/7, 365 days per year (including night shift evenings, weekends, and public holidays). If you are a quick thinker with strong acute clinical assessment skills, enjoy talking to clinicians on the phone and have competent computer literacy and customer service skills we would love to hear from you!
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:
- Current Registered Nurse AHPRA with zero notations
- A minimum 4 years’ post-registration experience
- Acute care skills are essential, medical and/or surgical. ICU or emergency nursing skills are viewed favourably
- A broad experience in general nursing
- Personality and skills to be able to adapt to changes in referral and clinical updates as the service develops and grows
