Role Summary
Join our dynamic and rapidly expanding global organisation as a Business Development Manager. As part of the Sorenson Enterprise team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into revenue-generating opportunities, driving growth and success.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Contract/Hours: 37.5 hours per week/Full Time/Permanent
Report to: Head of Enterprise Sales
Department: Enterprise Sales
Salary: Up to £37,000 (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP

Duties and responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of prestigious logos, must have experience of upsell and cross sell into existing accounts.
• Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns to convert them into revenue-generating sales opportunities with Enterprise end and customers.
• Contact potential customers through cold calls, emails, virtual meetings, and other digital or social communication channels to grow our Enterprise.
• Strong leadership skills and experience collaborating across global sales organisations.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally with different levels of the business.
• Passion for developing customer relationships and identifying/captilising on opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.
• Managing day to day pipelines in CRM tools.
• A resourceful, hands-on approach with a willingness to take initiative and do what it takes to drive the business forward with speed and adaptability.
• Identify prospect needs through effective communication, questions, active listening and strong conversational skills.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market to expand our footprint.
• Present our Enterprise portfolio to prospects and customers and display a strong acumen for the value proposition of conference room solutions, personal workspace solutions, mobility solutions and how these align to customer needs and challenges.
• Report to the Head of Enterprise sales on a regular basis with lead with lead qualification and pipeline generation results towards sales targets.
• Meet and exceed quarterly and /or annual targets based on KPIs.
• Coordinate with existing sales teams, account managers, marketing resources and key business group leaders to develop and execute a growth-oriented territory plan that will drive overall revenue growth for the business.
• Stay up to date with new products and solutions, including release date information and how they fit into our Enterprise portfolio of solutions.
• Be a Brand Ambassador
Education/Experience
• Minimum of Degree level
• 3 years experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• A minimum of 3 years in sales-related roles, preferably in consumer products or technology.
• A track record of leveraging influential leadership to drive change, growth and new business models.
• Experience navigating the Enterprise customer sales cycle, such as prospecting new leads or opportunities and driving revenue generation.
• An understanding of the customer engagement lifecycle, including recurring business and lifetime customer value propositions.
• Track record of success in sales, including exceeding revenue goals at a high growth company.
• Strong leadership skills and experience collaborating across global sales organisations.
• Experience working with CRM tools such as SFDC.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
• Ability to travel
• Office environment work such as extended sitting at a desk while operating a computer system, phone or other office equipment
• Some light to moderate lifting may be required
