We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiver to join our team at Cosentino's Sunfresh # 448. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming shipments, while maintaining accurate inventory records and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Verify items received against invoices and bills of lading, noting any discrepancies.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and quality, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment to move and store received items.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare and process paperwork related to receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with packaging and labeling of products as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to vendors and delivery personnel.
• Operate forklift truck safely and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of warehousing and shipping and receiving procedures.
• General knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Experience with palletizing and loading/unloading procedures.
• Familiarity with merchandising principles.
