Join our Administrative Team and become the heart of our center! As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll support our Center Director in daily operations, helping ensure everything runs smoothly for our children, families, and staff. You'll handle confidential tasks, manage communication, and represent our warm and welcoming environment from the front desk.

What You'll Do

  • Answer phones using our provided script
  • Greet visitors with a smile and positive attitude
  • Handle inquiries via email, phone, or in-person
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Step in for Directors as needed
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prepare memos, reports, emails, and other documents
  • Maintain filing systems (computer + manual)
  • Work with childcare industry software
  • Keep up-to-date by attending professional workshops
  • Manage sensitive information with discretion

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 21+ years old (required to drive a bus and close the building)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Background clearance required
  • Proficient writing skills (spelling, grammar, sentence structure)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Self-starter with strong organization and multitasking abilities
  • Team player with great communication and independent decision-making skills
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children
