Hickman Charter School Registrar / Data Analyst Job Description (updated) Reports to: Superintendent / Director(s) of Charter School General Description: Maintain an efficient, orderly, smooth functioning office Qualifications: Associate of Arts degree or equivalent knowledge Strong positive people skills and experience working with students and families Self-motivated, demonstrating an aptitude for the task to be performed Working knowledge of computers, computer systems, and relational database software Proficient in written communication skills Duties and Responsibilities: Classes and Activities: Register students in classes in the SIS Monitor class changes and maintain accurate rosters Assist ECs with class confirmation letters for parents Create roll sheets and name tags for teachers of classes Keep a record of what classes a student takes throughout the year in the SIS Maintain a record of completed roll sheets to verify the amount of time students attended elective classes Parent Communication: Use communication software to share information with target groups Create mailings when necessary Manage, Order, and Receive all Vendor Orders: Receive order forms approved by the administrator to process. Track family spending on a designated spreadsheet. Update the list of vendors as needed. Curriculum Catalog: Format and type all information Make changes when necessary Office Management: Help answer phones Greet parents and students help them with questions Help EC’s with mailing, rosters, workshop flyers, etc. when needed Working knowledge of school technology Maintain a neat and clean environment for families and staff to work in Performs other related duties as required Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of all employees Other Duties: Other related duties as assigned by administrator Work Year: 200 Days per year with
