Position Summary:

In this position you are expected to work on a multitude of projects that impact customers directly. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced agile environment. On our team, you will be given a high degree of ownership and responsibility for the overall quality and operation of every piece of software shipped.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain a high bar for quality.
  • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance 
  • Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
  • Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviews
  • Scope, design and implement test automation for allocated features.
  • Monitor and maintain test automation, across multiple platforms and configurations.


    • Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience testing enterprise applications deployed on-prem and/or in the cloud using Python
  • Proficiency in Python or related programming language
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, test-driven, agile, collaborative, and iterative programming environment
  • Ability to think clearly and articulate your vision with the appropriate technical depth
  • A desire to build great products, learn new technical areas, and dive in wherever there is a need


    • Desired Experience:
  • Previous experience writing automation frameworks in Python
  • Deep understanding of file systems and operating systems
  • Developing comprehensive test strategies for data masking operations across multiple database types (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, Sybase)
  • Designing test plans for ETL processes supporting various data sources including databases, files (XML, JSON, Parquet), mainframe systems (VSAM), and cloud storage (AWS S3, GCP, Azure Blob)
  • Creating test scenarios for regulatory compliance features (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Planning performance testing for large-scale data masking workflows
