BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Christian who is a member of a church that holds Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scriptures.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
The Graduate Advisor for the MAPC program advises and communicates with students in the program, maintains files and coordinates applicant interviews with the Director. In addition, the Graduate Advisor will provide support in the recruiting process, by sending letters to prospective students, including current undergraduate students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Personal commitment to Christ, exhibits qualities of a servant leader.
- Cooperative attitude toward DBU’s goals, an understanding of the University, and caring for DBU administration, faculty, staff, and students.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent prior related work experience is preferred.
- Strong writing and technology skills.
- Ability to organize, manage, problem solve, and work well with others.
- Ability to navigate the following programs and applications: Word, Excel, Teams, Blackboard, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Coursedog and other DBU platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create purchase orders for the program which includes testing materials and office supplies.
- Review the budget on an ongoing basis and manage the funds for the student chapter of AACC.
- Initiate and maintain communication with alumni of the program. Plan the MAPC Alumni Banquet.
- Use Coursedog to make all room reservations for MAPC program.
- Assists the director of the program with annual reports, program description, and any other tasks as needed.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Regular office hours between 8:00a.m.– 5:00p.m., Monday – Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break. Extended hours will be required during advanced registration and during open houses to assist with graduate admissions and orientation.
