ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop target list and initiate contact with potential clients through sales phone
    calls and cold calling.
  • Introduce the company and the company’s services to potential clients, visiting
    them in person and build and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives and
    needs while aligning our products and services.
  • Increases business with established and new clients over time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
  • Some light lifting may be required in some instances

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent sales experience.
  • Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to an executive, owner, and or decision maker with a consultative approach
  • Strong entrepreneurial experience and goal-driven focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Plans, organizes and uses time efficiently and effectively.
  • Dependable, follows instructions, responds to management direction
  • Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in Logistics preferred
  • 4 years previous experience in transportation related field or sales field

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
