The postdoctoral associate will conduct research on a project to harmonize phenological data from sources such as the National Phenological Network, herbaria, and the National Ecological Observatory Network and perform analyses to understand drivers of phenology to inform near-term forecasting of phenology, as well as assisting with other projects to provide research support for the PI. Typical hiring range for this position is $58,000 to $63,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
- PhD in ecology by start date
- Experience in plant phenology, biogeography, and spatial and temporal modeling (Bayesian and frequentist)
- Expertise in R or Python, GIS, big data management
- Collaborative skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Bayesian analyses (e.g., in STAN, JAGS)
- Previous project management experience
- Proven success in seeing projects through from start to finish
- Demonstrated record of publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts
