State Fire is looking for an experienced Special Hazards Fire Protection Sales Professional to lead our growth in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. If you know how to sell complex suppression systems, build lasting client relationships, and close deals from concept to commissioning, this role gives you the autonomy and support to thrive. You’ll manage your own sales cycle, working closely with estimating, design, and operations to deliver high-quality, code-compliant clean agent, foam, and dry chemical suppression solutions.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business for special hazards systems, including clean agent suppression, foam systems, dry chemical systems, and related service contracts
- Manage your sales pipeline from initial prospecting through proposal delivery, project handoff, and post-sale follow-up
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers, contractors, engineers, and facility decision-makers in industries such as data centers, manufacturing, mining, and aviation
- Provide technical guidance to clients, explaining system options, design considerations, applicable NFPA codes, and integration with other life safety systems
- Collaborate with internal estimating, design, and field teams to ensure proposals are accurate and projects are executed smoothly
- Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and code changes to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
What You Bring
- Proven experience in special hazards, clean agent suppression, or related fire protection sales
- Strong working knowledge of applicable NFPA standards and local fire codes
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to business development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally
