We Require
- Three years of progressively responsible administrative support and customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License at the time of hire
We Also Value
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- More than three years of experience operating a variety of copiers and basic reprographics equipment; experience with print management software; experience with Adobe Suite applications
Job Contributions
- Performs administrative duties for the Support Services Branch and all District Divisions, including scheduling meetings and resources; creates, edits, and processes documents and correspondence
- Operates copiers, laminating, and binding equipment to produce a variety of reports, maps, brochures, postcards, foam board signage, etc. Troubleshoot basic equipment problems, remove paper jams and place calls for service when needed
- Acts as a virtual meeting Subject Matter Expert for internal customers, remaining up to date on MS Teams and other video and bridge conferencing functionality
- Provides support to Flood Control District libraries, including scanning, linking, documenting and organizing physical and electronic reports, books, and studies
- Assist with Flood Control District records, including assisting with public records requests
- May support Human Resources by managing logistics for employment interviews, including contacting candidates, scheduling conference rooms or virtual resources, coordinating with panelists, and preparing interview packets
- Provides backup support for the front reception desk
- Operates the District vehicle to provide courier service within established boundaries (AZ Motor Vehicle Division records will be reviewed)
- Other Job Duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Exerting 20-25 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly
- Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
- Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel
