Hybrid Freezer-Material Handler en Naturpak

• Receive incoming trucks using established processes.   Ensuring quality, count, documentation, scanning and safety.
• Shipping out going trucks using established processes.   Prepare shipments by identifying products, locations, lot numbers, counts and rotation requirements also ensuring quality, count, documentation and safety.  Properly scan or record such movements within the ERP or WMS.
• Proper movement of all materials, ingredients and packaging, ensuring proper counts or weights are correctly done within the system.   This includes movements within the facilities and movements that may occur outside of the facilities if assigned to do so.
• Accurately Identify and label materials and record their locations in the facility to maintain inventory using scanning system or manual movements within the system.
• Work closely with other departments in their requests for logistical assistance. 
• Safely operate various forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment used in the performance of your assigned duties.   Only operate those items that you have been qualified on by Naturpak.
• Assist in the performance of inventory and cycle counting.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules, GMP’s and food safety guidelines.
• At all times ensure accuracy in logistical movements.
• Communication with all departments at all levels.
• All work is performance in a freezer environment
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications   

• Experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in safely operating material handling equipment preferred
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Ability to read, write and to follow instructions in English, and work independently with little guidance. 
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends

Physical Demands of the Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk, and stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.  for long periods. The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift up to 50 lbs. There is extensive walking required.
