North Central Utility (NCU) is seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Parts Route Sales Coordinator to represent NCU in the heavy-duty truck & trailer parts industry.
North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a “One Stop Shop” for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.
This position is a safety sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist sales rep as an Account Ambassador for customer accounts
• Oversee and coordinate the route operation
• Utilize routing program to ensure efficient delivery operations
• Ensure the route customers are taken care of efficiently and accurately
• Act as a liaison between customer, rep, and NCU
• Increase sales volume through promotional activity
• Suggest items of value to build customer loyalty and identify opportunities for incremental sales volume as needed
• Order parts and fill back orders for Route Customers
• Work with management to eliminate excess inventory and increase turns
• Increase route profitability
• Ensure parts are pulled and ready for daily route deliveries, assuring Salesmen are able to leave by 8:30am each day
• Build relationships with route customers
• Assist in flyer creation
• Share samples of new product(s) with our customer base, selling the features and benefits as needed
• Assist warehouse, front and back counter as needed
• Answer parts calls
• Assist with warranty administration for the Route Customers
• Maintain an accurate Route List
• Maintain Price Code tables for route customers, assuring competitive pricing while maximizing margin • Cycle call Route Customers weekly
• Run the Route during Salesman absence
• Assist Manager as needed
• Other Tasks as Assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Driver’s License in good standing
• Previous experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
• Proficient with technology and comfortable using a company iPad or tablet
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, squat repetitively and for long periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 pounds
