Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, our team is in search of an energetic leader to fill our part-time Youth Programs Coach role. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for sports, fitness, or just staying active, then this position is for you! 

Requirements

In joining our team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading groups of children through various P.E. games, activities, and sports during our Homeschool P.E. and Sports programs
• Following provided curriculum plans to ensure Homeschool P.E. & Sports programming is meeting appropriate developmental milestones for all participants
• Ensuring activities are high energy, fun, safe, and create a positive overall experience for participants and parents
• Assisting with the setup and cleanup of equipment and props used during programming 
• Maintaining consistent and respectful communication with program participants, parents/guardians, and HCI staff
• Enforcing safety standards and rules while providing appropriate supervision for youth participants during programs
• Demonstrating good judgment, alertness, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities

To be a great fit, you’ll have:

• Experience working with children ages 5-12, with an emphasis in recreation, physical education, and/or sports
• Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
• Patience, positivity, and must enjoy working with children

Scheduling Requirements:

• Must be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the school year for Homeschool P.E. and Homeschool Sports. Shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:45 am - 1:15 pm, and Wednesdays 10:15 am - 2:15 pm
