The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting executive leadership through comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across U.S. and North American operations. This position is responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, capital expenditure budgets, and executive presentations, while also serving as a financial liaison to regional management teams. The analyst collaborates closely with the Vice President, Finance & Accounting, corporate accounting, and operational leaders to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner. Primary scope of position includes but is not limited to:
- Develop and prepare ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations for executive management.
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Finance & Accounting in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Prepare and track capital expenditure budgets; monitor variances and provide clear, timely updates.
- Coordinate and compile financial presentations for executive and Board meetings across U.S. and North American entities.
- Attend internal management meetings, manage agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Analyze monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements at both regional and subregional levels.
- Monitor and interpret accounting data, including revenue and expenditure variances; provide insights through research and data analysis.
- Work closely with corporate accounting to examine financial reports for accuracy and completeness at the regional/subregional level.
- Serve as a financial mentor to regional management teams, offering training and guidance on financial concepts relevant to local sales and service operations.
- Provide regular financial performance updates to regional and subregional leaders.
- Prepare intercompany shared service agreements and manage the negotiation and allocation process.
- Support other duties and special financial projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA or CPA designation is preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial analysis and budgeting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP is required; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior or executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to think conceptually and develop effective alternatives
- Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manages multiple priorities effectively
Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
