A Residential Coordinator / caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

What You Get to Do:
- Coordinating a variety of services including, but not limited to; individual finances, community integration, program implementation, family involvement, and education/vocational programs
- Program planning, assessments, and implementation
- Communicating with the Nurse, Consumer Benefits Coordinator, Health Service Coordinator, and maintenance staff
- Assist in direct training, follow up, and coaching with program staff
- Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
- Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
- Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more.
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.
- Transport persons served to appointments or other activities outside the home.
- Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
- Document progress, milestones, and action steps.

Qualifications:What Makes You A Great Fit:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in residential and/or support services for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Leadership skills, observant and detail oriented
- Person-centered, patient, and kind
- Dependable, adaptable, flexible
- Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team
- Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment
- Computer skills for documentation
- 18 years or older, high school diploma/GED, and basic computer skills
- Successful clearance of a criminal background check for licensing requirement
- Valid Drivers License, personal vehicle and liability insurance
