Summary

The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in the success of our team and is primarily focused on qualifying inbound customer inquiries, helping prospects find the right SENS solution, and supporting the sales process from quote to close.  This role also provides essential support to the DC Power Outside Sales Team and balances responsiveness with proactive engagement through educating customers, following up on open quotes, driving quote to order conversion, and developing long-term relationships that support customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. The position requires exceptional communication skills, both internally and externally, and the ability to work effectively with customers, manufacturing representatives, and channel partners. Key responsibilities include effective communication with inside sales employees and customers, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Customer and Manufacturer Representative Relationship: Engage with customers and manufacturing representatives to understand their needs, identify sales opportunities, and provide necessary support. This includes preparing and delivering quotes, updating pricing, providing order status, and addressing technical or commercial inquiries. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, and present product features and benefits as needed. Maintain a high level of product and application knowledge to support effective customer education.
  • Quote and Purchase Order Processing for Standard Products: Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via web, email, and phone. Qualify incoming requests by understanding customer needs, application context, and potential fit for SENS products. Guide prospective customers through SENS’s product portfolio, recommending appropriate solutions. Develop and accurately communicate quotes, ensuring they are precise and that customer purchase orders align with these quotes. Ensure correct entry and fulfillment of orders in coordination with the Order Management team. Support the outside sales team with quote requests for their customers.  
  • SENS Order Management System (CPQ) and HubSpot Improvement: Actively follow up on outstanding quotes to address questions, overcome objections, and move opportunities forward.  Track and update all interactions and opportunities in HubSpot CRM, ensuring pipeline visibility.  Collaborate closely with the Sales Operations Team and HubSpot Team to drive continuous improvement in the sales and order management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in inside sales.
  • Ability to develop technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus and service skills.
  • Positive, professional, and energetic attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and self-directed, with a bias for follow-up and process improvement
  • Capacity to multitask and manage various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM.
  • Ability to work morning hours supporting the Eastern Time Zone.

Location: This position is located in Longmont, CO and will begin fully on-site, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule once fully trained. 

Base Compensation: $54,000 to $72,000 is the projected compensation range for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for on Target Sales Commission when sales goals are fully achieved.

Closing Date: August 31st. While we expect to keep the position open through this date, the posting may be extended or closed early based on applicant volume and hiring needs.
